Careers Department

All students need to prepare for their future beyond school. This preparation involves them in clarifying their ideas about the range of opportunities open to them in higher education. They need assistance to make well-informed and realistic decisions based on their knowledge of themselves and of the opportunities available.

The Careers Department at Shenzhen College of International Education provides:

• Counselling and research assistance for students regarding subject options at school, university course options and career choices.
• Testing for students in the areas of skills, abilities and interests in order to give them a profile to assist in possible career identification.
• Assistance with university applications, resume writing and preparation for interviews.

Located in the Overseas Studies Office (Room 207), we have assembled a range of printed and internet-based resources which will help students in making decisions about their future. In combination with other staff members, we can provide current, accurate information about SCIE subject options and tertiary courses in a number of different countries.
