Overseas Studies Office
The Overseas Studies Office (Room 207) comes under the overall managerial responsibility of the Head of A-Level Studies. It consists of the UCAS Coordinator, US University Counselors, the Head of Careers and administrative assistants. The office advises and guides students through the process of applying to universities in the UK, USA and elsewhere (e.g. Canada, Australia and Hong Kong). It provides careers advice and information, university prospectuses and internet facilities, all of which fully enable students to make responsible and informed decisions about courses in Further and Higher Education.

Bernard Rawlins
Head of Sixth Form Studies,Head of UCAS Head of History M.Ed. (Bath University) M.A. (Cambridge University) PGCE (London University Institute of Education)
With a Cambridge Masters Degree in History, Bernard Rawlins was trained at London University Institute of Education in 1981/82. His Masters Degree in Education was awarded with merit by Bath University in 2002 for research into International School History syllabuses. His recent experience as an Oxford tutor follows twenty years teaching and administration in Africa and the Near/Middle East. A Head of Department in several schools, he was Upper Section Director of Maputo International School in Mozambique, and Secondary Head at Mombasa International School in Kenya. A chess player for Oxfordshire, his interests include museum and gallery education. |

Mary Ann O Donnell
Mary Ann O Donnell has a Ph.D. in Anthropology from Rice University and is currently HOD of US College Applications in the Overseas Study Office and a research fellow at Lingnan University, Hong Kong. She has taught at Brown University, the University of Chicago, the Rhode Island School of Design, and Shenzhen University. Since 2003, O Donnell has taught in Chinese schools, where she specializes in teaching academic and essay writing for Chinese speakers. |

Peter Dabrowski

Peter was born in Poland, but raised in Chicago before moving around through different cities in the U.S. He comes to SCIE after working as an admissions officer for 3 years. Peter enjoys football, surfing, volleyball, live music, food, comedy clubs, and everything else there is to life. |

I have worked in in the following places
10 years in Maine, Colorado, Alaska. Most of those years in Colorado.
I have also worked in the following countries Kuwait, Burma, China, Thailand and Turkey.
I have held a variety of positions everything from High School Counselor to Elementary School Principal.
I have also coached numerous sports primarily soccer, basketball and volleyball.
Interests include the following activities: Skiing, Running, Trekking, Biking, Scuba, Skating, Rollerblading, Soccer, Basketball and staying active.
Also enjoy reading, yoga, taking pictures, watching films and listening to music
